Higashikagawa City, Higashikagawa Local Management Organization, and GeoTechnologies, Inc. Sign a Three-Party Partnership Agreement to Promote the Appeal of Local Specialty Products and Experiences and to Create and Expand the Relational Population
Higashikagawa City,Kagawa Prefecture (Mayor: Ichiro Uemura), Higashikagawa Local Management Organization (Chairperson: Yasuhiro Teranishi; hereinafter referred to as “HiLMO”), and GeoTechnologies, Inc. (Head Office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoichiro Yatsurugi) will enter into a three-party partnership agreement on May 12, 2026, with the aim of increasing awareness of Higashikagawa City’s “local specialties” and the “inspiring experiences” available amid its rich natural surroundings, thereby creating and expanding the city’s related population.
Through this initiative, Higashikagawa City will further promote EBPM (Evidence-Based Policy Making), a policy approach advocated by the Japanese government, by utilizing this opportunity to advance data-driven policymaking.
