When automatic driving advances, cars with no drivers or steering wheels will be seen on public roads. It means systems with advanced abilities such as AI recognizing their surroundings through advanced automotive sensors and cameras, interpreting the situation with external information, to enable cars to drive automatically.

Just as we have supported drivers with car navigation maps, we hope to provide high-definition maps and dynamically changing real-time information to automatically driven cars, and support safe driving that fits surrounding transport environments through the information we have amassed.
To do that, we have been taking on various initiatives toward automatic driving, getting ready for the forthcoming world.
